When we designed the exterior environment we considered the sun and how we wanted to interact with it at various times of the year. the pool was placed very close to the house and in particular to the owners suite, hot or cold weather the water is just steps away.
The flush pool deck was integrated into the simple landscape of the house. Reflecting morning light, creating movement and amplifying sights and sounds, the pool adds texture and a sense of luxury in the desert. Privacy is provided by a massive standing stonewall created by Brad Quinn, a local craftsman, and of course Zion National Park.
